Partial Payments on grpayit

Grand Rapids utility bills can be paid in full or in part on grpayit. As you go through the process of making your payment (see Pay a Utility Bill on grpayit), you will be prompted to add the bill to your cart and checkout. 

To make a partial payment follow the steps below: 

1. Click Continue to Checkout

2. Enter the partial payment amount in the "Payment Amount" field

3. Select a payment method and a preferred "Payment Date". Then click the blue Pay $--.-- button to complete your payment.

Note: If you have a stored payment method, it will automatically appear here. Click Payment Method to select a different stored payment method or to add a new credit/debit card or bank account. If you have not added a payment method before or are proceeding as a guest, select Choose Payment Methodto add a credit/debit card or bank account. 

After completing your payment, you will receive an email confirmation. If you are signed in to a grpayit account, a receipt will also be stored in your profile (see Find a Receipt on grpayit).
